The first thing I ever said I wanted to be when I grew up was an author. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by storytelling. There are VHS tapes filled with stories featuring my Barbies and stuffed animals. In 2012, I participated in California State University of Monterey Bay’s film program, and I left like I found the missing piece of the puzzle. Art is most gratifying when it is collaborative.
